HealthCare HeadSpa Head Massager

This is SO COOL!!!! My husband and I both agreed on this one! Of course, both of us enjoy giving the other head scratches (he loves his temples being rubbed and scratched and I love the top of my head being rubbed) and head rubs, so this one item really impressed us. My birthday is coming up and I have the feeling I'll be getting this little darling.

Anyways, here it is, the Healthcare Head Spa Head Massager!

Let me know what you think of it, OK?

Brother MFC-6890CDW Professional Series Color Inkjet All-in-One Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax with Duplex Printing and Wireless Networking

Here's a great house gadget to have available in the house.

It's called an All-in-One Printer and it's made by Brother, which is a dependable name known for it's electronic line. We've had a few different brands throughout the years and we do tend to go back to a Brother model when available.

They're not too expensive, they are dependable, and they are easy maintenance.

Having the fax option is not huge for me since we can scan and send via email, but the copier function has really saved me in a few instances. Like when my boys got their drivers licenses (Oh, LORD!) and I made a copy of the front/back of their licenses just in case! Or if you get a new credit card, make a copy of the front and back and file it! These are items that you'll be happy you have IF something ever happens.

Having a paper back up JUST IN CASE has saved my bacon (and my families) a few times over the years. I just go to a general file that I created for safety sake and pull that copy out. Phone numbers, addresses, and all kinds of other information are there when you need it.

Believe me, if you don't have an All in One in YOUR house, you may wish one day that you did.

Check it out at Brother MFC-6890CDW Professional Series Color Inkjet All-in-One Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax with Duplex Printing and Wireless Networking

Petmate Le Bistro Portion-Control Automatic Pet Feeder

Here is Santos' pick of the day for our House Gadgets blog. We have a cat, so we don't have to worry so much about Oreo as others who have dogs have to worry about their pets if they are away from home for more than a day.

There are some animals who don't do well at a shelter or a veterinarian office when the owners are gone for a day or so and some just don't like leaving home. So when the owners have to leave the home for a short time, these bowls are the perfect choice to have to keep your pet fed and having fresh water available.

So take a look at both of these options so the next time you need to be away from home for a day or two, your pet will still be in the comfort of their own home and you can be assured that your pet will have fresh food and water.

Have a great day, Folks!

Braun 5270 Silk-épil X'elle Body System Epilator

Ladies, do you get tired of shaving your legs everyday? I know I do, but since I don't enjoy the look and feel of stubbly legs, I'm stuck with it!

I've visited a spa in the past where I had my legs waxed and NEVER AGAIN will I ever do that!!!! It's beyond painful and I just can't see making myself go through that again. It hurt!

I can't see myself going through laser surgery to have it permanently removed either, I'm just not the type. BUT, I found a solution that works for me.

The Braun 5270 Sile-epil X-elle Body System Epilator is not expensive and it works! Regrowth is slower and finer, leaving your skin silky smooth for up to 4 weeks, which is a wonderful alternative to waxing or lasers and I definitely don't have to shave every day!

So, Ladies, check out this product, it works wonders on my body and I'll be it does on yours, too.

Hey, summer is almost here, we all have to start working on getting that swimsuit body and part of that is definitely getting smooth, not hairy, skin! :)

Panasonic ER421KC Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer, Wet/Dry, Lighted

Today's featured product (today is Santos' day!) is the Panasonic ER421KC Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer, Wet/Dry, Lighted. Surprise, surprise, I thought for sure it would be a tool that he plays around with when he's woodworking! :)

But, no, as we get older, hairs are growing where they never used to grow when we were younger and he mentioned this gadget this morning when he had to trim a few hairs that had sprouted overnight.

So, if you are like everyone else who is getting just a bit more mature and the hairs are starting to sprout, take a look at this house gadget that Santos recommends and see if it's something you need to have in YOUR house.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hydrofarm Jump Start T5 Grow Light System

Today's feature is the Hydrofarm Jump Start T5 Grow Light System, which is just perfect for starting your vegetable seeds instead of putting out the money for seedlings or full grown plants (which can get pricey).

I did both this year, planted my own seeds AND purchased some seedlings, because while I love to see the vegetable plants growing, I also want to hurry some of them up to get that first picking of fresh produce on the table! Yum is all I can say to that.

I did a short post of my tomatoes this morning at And How Was Your Day? if you'd like to visit over there. I'm lucky enough to live in sunny Southern Florida so I don't have to have a greenhouse outside, but some plant lamps are great to have to start those seeds off early! :)

Anyways, the Hydrofarm Jump Start T5 Grow Light System is what I'm recommending today. For those of you who have been checking in with me, you know that tomorrow will be featuring an item that Santos, my husband, likes/recommends. We take turns every other day!

Have a great day, Folks!

Fresh Baked Bread - Who Doesn't Love It?

OK, today is MY turn to offer up a house gadget that I use all the time!

My Breadman bread maker! Yeah, my whole family loves fresh baked bread and since I have 3 grown sons who are unfulfillable, yes, I've made lots of bread in my day! I remember when they were in secondary school and they'd hop off the bus, come in through the front door like mini whirlwinds and go straight to the kitchen because they were STARVED! (their words, promise!)

It got to the point where I'd have some fresh bread waiting for them with either a tub of butter or the bottle of olive oil and some cracked pepper already sliced on the counter waiting for them. Usually, I had some apples or oranges right next to the bread, also.

And that was just their SNACK until it was time for dinner (we're only talking 2 hours away!)! Yep, so you know I love my Breadman Pro Bread Maker!

So here's the link to see if a Breadman Bread Maker would benefit your household!

Place a post if you have any questions or if you'd like one of the recipes I use all the time (I have MANY).

Enjoy, Folks!

DeWalt Table Saw - For Those Around The House Projects!

My husband is demanding equal time on this blog for HIS gadgets, so I figured I'd pacify him and make this post his. :)

Like most wives, I usually have a "honey do" list floating in the back of my mind. (am I right here, Ladies?) You know, the toilet bowl keeps running (this job can't be put on hold, it has to be done right off!), one of the kitchen chairs develops a wobble, and, of course, new furniture!

I'm an avid reader and love books. Unless it's a book that just couldn't keep my interest or had an awful ending (I hate those!), books do NOT leave my house! I keep them all!

After a bit of time, however, this habit of mine turns into an itty bitty problem. . . I'm always needed more bookshelves! Yep, my living room has 2 complete walls that are side by side bookshelves and they are all full! And that's just in the living room! I have more books in the guest room, of course I have some in our bedroom, and I have boxes of books in the garage! Yeah, I have a serious problem with books!

So my "honey do" list always has another bookshelf lurking in the background. I always need more!

One of the first investments we had to make when my husband starting making me bookshelves was a table saw. Now my husband has good taste, so only a DeWalt would do for him (of course, right?)

So the gadget that I'm featuring on this post is the DEWALT DW745 Heavy Duty 10-inch Compact Job Site Table Saw with 16-inch Max Rip Capacity

It's a great quality, heavy duty table saw that will make quick work of everything from bevel cuts in hard woods to resizing sheet materials. Bevel applications are easy to tackle with the ability to adjust the blade from 0 to 45 degrees, while the included 24T carbide blade provides improved cut quality and offers an extended life to save you money.

So, if YOU have a "honey do" list in mind (or you are the one who has to complete the honey do list!), check out this DeWalt Table Saw and get cracking on all of those wood projects you've got in mind.

Hey, just as an aside, don't forget that these get pretty loud! Protect your ears by using Noise Reduction Headphones and Safety Googles. Safety first, everyone!

Enjoy!

Welcome to House Gadgets!

I happen to LOVE house gadgets!

My kitchen, especially, is filled with them! You know, all those little appliances and "do-dads" that make it easier to do something or maybe it saves you time, but in the long run, we all have some.

My husband has gadgets galore in the garage to help him do things faster or better. He has mechanical, electronic, and who knows what else "gadgets" that he HAS TO HAVE or he can't get work done (at least, that's what I was told so that we HAD to go shopping for the thing)!

So, welcome to House Gadgets, where you never know what I'm going to recommend to you from one day to the other. . .

I'll try to find you some cool stuff and give you examples of WHY you should have them and hopefully be able to give you some good tips on how to use them even better.

Let's go exploring!
